Welcome to our family blog, where you'll see a photographic story line of our lives and what it's like to raise three crazy boys. T- Our oldest is growing up quickly into a mini adult, he loves being active and right in the mix of things. M- Our middle man is very compassionate and caring, he's the animal lover of the group for sure. G- The youngest... You'll notice right away he is trouble, it's written all over his face. He's also quite the charmer and likes having his picture taken. We love to road trip and have a bucket list to make it to all 50 states with the kids before they graduate. Hope you enjoy our journey as much as we do! ('Family Blog' photo courtesy of Leah Holston)

January/Feb 2019 -- Snowy days meaning trying to keep ourselves busy inside. Connect Four is quickly becoming a favorite.

    Happy New Year!

(Practicing how to take head shots with my oldest)

M got some guinea pigs for Christmas... love at first sight ;)

Uncle B brought home the cutest pup in the world... well besides Ollie... well maybe its a tie.

March/April 2019 -- Is this the longest winter ever? LET'S GO TO FLORIDA! The boys are super into Harry Potter so Universal was the hot spot!

Can't wait for beach days like this in Michigan! T has a flip obsession... back flip, front flip, 360, 180 = Mom having a heart attack.

2018 Year in Review Part Two

Summer FUN!

Last fall and into this spring we worked to renovate a 1990s trailer so that we could spend long weekends traveling the mitten a bit easier. One of  our favorite trips was to Pictured Rocks in Munising.

Capturing our Christmas card photos is always a bit of a challenge...

2018 Year in Review

I have to admit there are years when I do a good job at making sure to take a lot of photos of my kiddos and then there are years that I fail miserably -- just like anyone else. Sometimes being a photographer makes it harder to feel compelled to pull out my camera and chase down the boys -- however when I do I never regret it! Goals -- keep taking pictures!

Using G to see how my spring mini session backdrop would look :)

For spring break we decided to travel take a new road, we adventured to Texas! Headed straight for Galvestion where we hung out by the pier and beach. Then to San Antionio to explore the Alamo and Missions as well as Busch Gardens.  Of course I had to stop in Waco and explore (the boys liked it there too). On our way home we stopped for a rainy day at Silver Dollar City in Branson and thru Chicago to see Uncle B before finally making it back home. Totally an amazing trip with great memories!

We made in Home just in time for EASTER!

Our boys love being a part of Scouts! Best part of the derby race for them...racing against each other after all the 'real' races are done

A Little Bit of Us | 365 Project https://www.rollingfieldsphotography.com/blog/2017/4/a-little-bit-of-us-365-project A Little Bit of Us | 365 Project  // part one  // Jan-Feb

I always spend a little bit of time over December and January rethinking, organizing, reflecting. You know all those thoughts you have when something ends and another begins. This amazing business has given me so much and I was able to step away from my other career and focus on this one starting last fall. While I'm excited and bit less stressed, I'm also scared and overwhelmed. I know that everything in my work life is now focused on me meeting my goals and reaching just a little bit more every day. I do what I do because I love it. But somewhere along the line it has started to take over a bit. So to bring myself back and spend more time focusing on us (our family), I've decided to attempt to capture at least one photo a day that is true to us. You'll find those here, where you can see 'a little bit of us' through out the year.

"In this life we will never truly be apart, for we grew to the same beat of our mother's heart." -- D. Fandrich

In love. These two little sweethearts came to visit at my in home studio the other day.  I could not get enough snuggles. Little miss was oh so tiny... oh all the baby snuggles. Her brother already seems to be the protective type, he didn't fuss one bit when she borrowed his shoulder. These two are going to be best buddies.   Snug as two peas in a pod!
